Activities Worker - Bradbury

Job Introduction

Are you available to work during school holidays (two weeks in summer, one week in Easter and 3 days in every half term)? 

Do you want to earn extra money and make a positive difference in a child’s life?

If so, we are looking for enthusiastic, caring and creative people to work in our holiday activity schemes. The scheme provides activities for children and young people aged 6-16 years with a range of complex conditions and impairments, including physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties and/or autism.

If successful, your role will include supporting disabled children to enjoy a programme of holiday activities, both at a fixed venue and on days out in the Community.

Rewards include the smiles and laughter of the young people you support, 25 days annual leave, an Employee benefits package including Child Care Vouchers, and help to buy scheme, plus pension, sick pay and a competitive hourly rate £7.83 per hour with enhanced rates of £9.46 per hour for weekends.

Experience is not essential; however you must be willing to undertake initial training and work as part of a team.

Zero and annualised hours contracts are available.

There is no closing date on this role as we are always looking to recruit people to help support the Children we work with.

An Enhanced DBS will be required for all staff.
