Information Advice and Support Adviser (West Berkshire SENDIASS)

£21,500 pro rata per annum (20 hours per week term time, 6 hours per week in school holidays)

We are The Rose Road Association, a Registered Charity providing essential Care and support Services in Southampton and surrounding areas. We are passionate about supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or autism and their families. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Advice and Support Adviser (Young People) to join the West Berkshire SENDIASS Team. We provide an impartial, confidential and free service to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their parents. The role will be home based with travel across the West Berkshire area as necessary. 

The successful applicant will, amongst other things, provide impartial information, advice and support to children and young people (0-25) with SEND and their parent carers, supporting and empowering them to make informed decisions and resolve disagreements about any aspect of their special educational need or disability including education, health and care. This role will have a particular focus on the 14 to 25 age range.
