Information Advice and Support Adviser (Southampton SENDIASS)

£21,000 pro rata per annum (20 hours per week in term time, 6 hours per week during school holidays) – 1 year fixed term contract

We are The Rose Road Association a Registered Charity providing essential Care and support Services in Southampton. We are passionate about supporting children and adults with, Learning, disabilities, Physical disabilities and /or Autism. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Advice and Support Adviser to join the Southampton SENDIASS Team. We provide an impartial, confidential and free service to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their parents. The role is based at the Rose Road Association at the Bradbury Centre in Aldermoor Road, Southampton with travel across the Southampton area necessary. 

The successful applicant will, amongst other things, provide impartial information, advice and support to children and young people (0-25) with SEND and their parent carers, supporting and empowering them to make informed decisions and resolve disagreements about any aspect of their special educational need or disability including education, health and care.
