Respite Support Worker- Southampton – Full Time & Part Time Available

Salary:  £12.09 - £13.09 p/h

This role will be subject to a DBS check and you must be over 18 years of age.

We are The Rose Road Association, a Registered Charity providing essential care and support services in Southampton. We are looking to grow our team of people who support our children and young adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience within a care/support worker role. 

This important role provides support to our children and young adults at home and in the community to enable well-being and independence.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Individual to come and join the team at The Rose Road Association, a Registered Charity providing essential Care and Support Services in Southampton. We are passionate about supporting children and adults with, Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities and /or Autism. 

The role:

The children and adults we support are individuals and therefore no two days are the same, as a general guide, duties will include:

  • Support with personal care needs
  • Help to take part in a wide range of interests and activities that support wellbeing and independence, such as sensory, swimming, baking, crafts, movies and much more depending on what people choose

Please note: suitable candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience within a care/support worker role
